The Dragon Boat Festival is here once again with the sounding of drums and fluttering of colourful flags. Lee Kum Kee has designed a series of special recipes for the occasion. The dishes are absolutely delicious and the recipes are easy to follow. In addition to the traditional meat-filled rice dumpling, we are also introducing vegetarian rice dumpling, stuffed hairy gourd vegetarian style, and chicken steamed in lotus leaf. The ingredients for the vegetarian rice dumpling include red kidney bean, Garbanzo bean, corn, and mushroom. Their aromatic smell will stimulate your appetite and you can certainly afford to indulge in this tasty and healthy dish.

Another ever popular and traditional dish is rice dumpling stuffed with Chinese mushroom, belly pork, peanuts and chestnuts. For the stuffed hairy gourd vegetarian style, all you need to do is stir fry the mushrooms, carrots, celery, dry bean curd, and black fungus and then stuff them into the hairy gourd which is shaped like a Dragon Boat and children will find this resemblance most amazing. Another easy to follow recipe is chicken steamed in lotus leaf. Marinate the chicken, red dates, mushrooms and ginger in Lee Kum Kee sauce, wrap them in lotus leaf and steam them for about 10 minutes. The end result is an aromatic and delicious dish.
