Ingredients
Chicken 1/2 [about 450 g/1 lb] [chopped into pieces], Stoned red dates 8 [halved], Chinese mushrooms 4 [soaked and halved], Ginger 3 slices, Green onions 2 [sectioned], Fresh/dried lotus leaf 1 piece
Marinade
Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce 2 tsp, Sugar 1 tsp
Premium Soy Sauce 2 tbsp, Corn starch 1 1/2 tsp
Sesame Oil 2 tsp, Wine 1 tsp
Method
1. Mix chicken, red dates, mushrooms, ginger and green onions with marinade.
2. Clean lotus leaf and set aside. If using dried lotus leaf, soak in hot water until soft. Drain.
3. Wrap all the ingredients with lotus leaf. Steam over high heat for 10 minutes or until done. Cut open lotus leaf and serve hot.
