How to make it

  1. Take abalones out of can. Set aside. Keep the thick abalone sauce in can.
  2. Heat oil in pan. Fry tofu slices on medium-low heat until both sides are golden and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In same pan, fry ginger slices and minced garlic until fragrant. Add fried tofu. Gently stir.
  4. Pour in the abalone sauce and some water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes so tofu absorbs the sauce well. Rich and sweet abalone sauce transforms basic ingredients with ease—perfect for everyone!
  5. Add cornstarch slurry. Stir gently to thicken the sauce slightly – it should coat the tofu nicely.
  6. Place whole abalones on top. Cover and simmer 1 minute to warm through. Sprinkle chopped green onion. Done!
