How to make it

Slice the hairy gourd into 3cm thick and remove the seeds with a spoon.

Cook the hairy gourd in boiling water with medium heat for 6 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Mix all the shrimp paste ingredients and set aside.

Sprinkle the corn starch onto the hairy gourd. Spoon theshrimp paste onto the hairy gourd.

Steam for 8 minutes with medium heat.

Mix all the seasoning ingredients, stir with medium low heat until thickened.

Pour the sauce onto the hairy gourd. Sprinkle with coriander.
