Braised Beef Brisket and Turnip with Oyster Sauce
What You Will Need
Ingredients
- Beef brisket 600 g [cut into big pieces]
- Turnip(s) 250 g [cut into pieces]
- Carrot (s) 250 g [cut into pieces]
- Ginger (s) 5 slices
- Green onion(s) 2 pcs [sectioned]
- chilli 1 pc [Red, cut into pieces]
Seasoning
- Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce 4 tbsp
- Star anise 1 pc
- Water 1 1/4 L

How to make it

Blanch beef brisket in boiling water. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain again and set aside.

Saute ginger, green onions and red chilli in 2 tbsp oil, then add turnip until fragrant.

Add seasoning mix and boil. Turn to low heat and cook for about 1 1/2 hours until tender.

Add turnip, carrot and cook for about 20 minutes until tender.
