Braised fried tofu with chicken and shrimp roe

How to make it

Slice the chicken fillet and marinate for 10 minutes. Chop the green onion

Cut the tofu into thick slices and sprinkle with corn starch. Whisk the egg and dip the tofu on both sides with the egg yolk.

Heat the oil pan. Pan fry tofu on both sides until golden brown. Put aside.

Heat the oil pan, sauté chicken and cook until both sides are goldenyellow. Add in ginger and the mixed seasoning. Cook till boiling.

Add in the pan-fried tofu. Cook over low heat until the sauce is thickened. Add green onion and sprinkle with the shrimp roe.
Tips: Add generous amount of oil when frying the tofu to avoid the tofu from sticking to the pan.
