How to make it

Wash the radish first, and cut into thick strip . After stirring with salt, marinade for three hours.
Mix all seasonings in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar melts, stirring occasionally. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
After three hours, rinse and drain the radish until there is no salty or bitter taste.
Place the radish strips in a glass bottle and pour in the cool marinade.
At last, add the sliced garlic and chilli pepper to enhance the flavour, seal the glass bottle, and refrigerate for 1 day.
