How to make it

  1. Marinate pork neck fillet for 3 hours; pan-fry both sides of the fillet until it goldens.
  2. Place the fried pork neck fillet into the rice cooker for each of its sides to cook for about 5 minutes until it is thoroughly done.
  3. Pour in the remaining marinade onto the fillet, let it cook for about 2 minutes, and it is ready to serve.
  4. Tips: Puncture the raw pork neck with a fork before marinating helps it to pick up flavours. Note that rice cookers differ in cooking temperature hence cooking time for the dish varies accordingly.
  5. Dietician’s Advice: This is a simple dish with no mention of cooking oil in the recipe making it most suitable for busy city lives.
