How to make it
Steam the pumpkin in high heat for 15 minutes.
Cut the top of the pumpkin and keep it aside as “lid”. Remove the seeds. Dice the pumpkin flesh then put it back into the pumpkin. Add in the concentrated chicken broth, mix well.
Mix the egg with oyster sauce, water and half of the crab meat.
Add the egg mixture into the pumpkin. Wrap tightly with cling film. Steam for 15 minutes.
Top with green onion and the rest of the crab meat. Serve immediately.
1. Concentrated chicken broth brings out the sweetness of the pumpkin.
2. Steamed pumpkin is easier to cut through.
