Stir-fried Clams with Basil and King Oyster Mushrooms
What You Will Need
Ingredients
- • 600g clams
- • 300g king oyster mushrooms (cut into thick strips)
- • 30g scallions (cut into sections)
- • 1 bunch of basil
- • 15g red chili peppers (cut into sections)
- • Some minced garlic
Seasoning
- • 2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce
- • 1 tsp sugar
- • 2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Pure Ground Fragrant Sesame Oil
- • 15ml water
- • Some cornstarch water

How to make it

Heat up a wok and fry the king oyster mushrooms until golden brown. Set aside.

Heat up the wok again and stir-fry the minced garlic and red chili peppers until fragrant.

Add the clams and some water to the wok and stir-fry until the clams open up. Then, add the king oyster mushrooms and the other seasonings and stir-fry until well combined.

Finally, add the basil and stir-fry over high heat until fragrant.

Tips:
Soak the clams in salted water to help remove sand and grit.
