Clean the squid and cut it into small pieces for later use.
Heat water in a pot, blanch the squid for 30 seconds, then remove and drain.
Heat oil in a pan over high heat, add sesame oil, ginger slices, and minced garlic to stir-fry until fragrant. Then add sectioned onions and red peppers to stir-fry.
Add the squid, then stir-fry with the remaining seasonings until the sauce thickens. Finally, add basil and stir-fry evenly before serving.
Tip: When selecting squid, pay attention to the condition of the mucous membrane on the surface of the squid. If the mucous membrane has already peeled off, it indicates that it is not very fresh.
